There will be a total of 4 bonus quilt blocks. It's completely up to you if you want to make them/add them to your quilt. On December 1, we'll post different quilt layout options using the 12 monthly block and using 16 blocks (the 12 monthly blocks plus the 4 bonus blocks). If you want to sew your blocks together as you go, you can sew your bonus blocks together to make an extra row at the bottom of the quilt.
If you're on Instagram, please share pics of your blocks and use the hashtag #moremodernhstbom and #modernhstbom2020 so we can see them. Feel free to tag Zina (@zanymouse) and me (@stephjacobsondesigns) in your BOM posts. You can also post a pic of your block on my Facebook page, Steph Jacobson Designs. (There will be a photo album for each month's block, and you can add your picture as a comment in the album.) Thank you so much for doing the BOM! I am having so much fun putting it together :) I am wondering if it would be possible for you to give us the number of HST and focus squares we need for the bonus blocks. I am using scraps from a previous quilt and want to make sure I have enough of my focus fabric before doing the bonus blocks. Thanks!
