The sketch worked well with Use It! challenge no. 19: use monochromatic scraps (I always have trouble with monochromatic but managed to use some pink scraps--my scraps are monochromatic but my card isn't!), add a tag or label (I made a tag), use at lease one of your favorite stamps (I really like the swirl stamp on the corners of the tag), add a layered flower (I used three layers of torn paper).
The card also works for last week's 365 Cards Day 138 - She Said, and I Quote. . . I've had this quote stamp forever but never used it. I'm not sure why, because it's kind of nice! Thanks for looking!
What a lovely card and fabulous use of this sketch! I'm really loving the diversity of work in this challenge! Yours is really YUMMY and tactile: I love it!

ReplyDeleteHi Steph
ReplyDeleteA little bit late but I'm just back from my vacation in Italy and I was not able to visit your blog while I was there. I love your card and the color you used. It is super Monochromatic!!!! Thanks for playing along in "my" challenge(#19) on the Use it! Blog.
