I have been participating in the Caardvarks card challenges for about six months now, and I absolutely love them. They always get me thinking in a different way, and I'm able to create cards I never would have come up with on my own. The current challenge is a one day challenge to create a card WITHOUT using patterned paper. Is this even possible? After some thinking, I was able to come up with this card. I made it using leftover strips of textured cardstock (I knew I was saving them for a reason) that I machine stitched to a piece of white cardstock. I then stitched that cardstock to a white card. I didn't want all the zig-zag stitching to show through on the inside of the card. I apologize for the poor picture--not much sunshine today! Making a light box will be my next project, and hopefully it will greatly improve my photographs.
This is so creative, I love what you've done!!
ReplyDeleteHow innovative ... I love the color, the stitching and how you used up those last little bits of yummy textured cardstock ... wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card. I may have to "borrow" your idea in the future.
