More Modern HST BOM {September 2020!}

Happy September! We have just 4 more blocks (plus 2 more bonus blocks!) for our More Modern HST BOM quilt. Here is September's block...

I don't know how, but I actually have my September block done! I wasn't sold on my monocromatic grays at the beginning of the year, but I'm really enjoying the results. I guess not everything needs a lot of rainbow color! 

Zina has another gorgeous using rainbow fat quarters from the Foundation collection by Shayla Wolf for Windham Fabrics.

I've had some questions about the number of HSTs and squares needed as we progress throughout the year. As a refresher, here are the amounts of HSTs and squares needed for the monthly blocks.

For those of you trying to decide if you have enough fabric to make the bonus blocks, you will need an additional 30 HSTs, 9 Focus Squares, and 9 Background squares.

I am so appreciate of everyone that has been participating in this year's HST BOM. I think we can all agree 2020 has been a crazy year, and it makes me so happy to see everybody's blocks each month. I can't wait until December rolls around and finished quilt tops start popping up. Zina and I have decided there will be another BOM in 2021! We are busy brainstorming ideas so stay tuned for more details.
